Ordering & Customization
Do you offer custom cakes/cupcakes/cookies?
Yes we do offer custom orders for any of your special occasions. We can help you desing a new idea or take inspiration from pictures to help you customize anytthing to your liking. All custom order inquires must be made by email to info@simplyscrumptious.ca or call to 705-321-6606. This will allow us to provide you with a quote and approximate time of fulfillment.
How much notice do you need for custom orders?
Most custom orders can be completed within two weeks. We need to first quote you on the specifics and a estimated time will be provided.
Do you require a deposit for custom orders?
All custom orders have a 25 percent deposit required before the order can be put into production.
Do you offer gift cards?

What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards, debit cards, cash, google pay and apple pay
Products & Ingredients
What kind of baked goods do you offer?
Our bakery is inspired by Italian, British and Canadian style of savory and sweet foods. We offer many savory meals options frozena nd fresh which you can browse here. We also carry many sweets in the form of cakes, cookies, tarts, and pastries that you can view here Sweets We constantly add in our catalogue. During holidays we will regulary have holiday inspired treats and meals so check back often or come visit us in store.
Do you have gluten-free/dairy-free/vegan options?
We do offer gluten free, vegan, nut free and dairy free options but they all must be preordered to guarantee they are made without cross contamination if this is a requirement. Our signature coconut cream tarts are made with a coconut shell instead of a traditional tart shell so this is our most popular gluten free option that we regularly carry.
Do you use nuts in your bakery?
Yes, we do use nuts, however we are a specifically peanut-free facility.
How long do your baked goods stay fresh?
Each product varies in its shelf life. In general our shortbreads last up to 6 months in the refrigerator. Most of our cookies can be frozen in an artight container for up to 6 months. All of our savory meals can be frozen and should be eaten within 3 to 6 months ensures the best taste and texture. Most of our tarts and pastries will last about 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.
Do you use any artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives?
No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives are used in any of our baked goods. We strive to use all natural ingredients in everything we make. We cook here at the bakery just like we cook at home for our family. This may reduce the shelf life but we think avoiding preservatives is the right choice for fresh healthy tasting foods. Some examples are that our lemon tarts are made with freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest, our strawberry cream puffs use real stawberries and our lasgana noodles and sauce are all made from scratch in house.
Pickup & Delivery
Do you offer delivery?
For catering we can include a delivery option to your quotation if it meets the minimum value. For all regular online orders we currently we do not offer any delivery options. Please check back in the future as we intend to have this option eventually.
Can I pick up my order in-store?
Yes all orders made online must be picked up in store at 317 Athelrey Road, Orillia. Please view our store hours and location here
What should I bring for pickup?
Either your name or order onfirmation number at the time of pickup.
Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes just give them your order confimation number.

What makes your bakery different/special?
We like to think what makes our bakery special is that we are a local small shop that uses all of our own recipes many of them that have been in our family for decades. We make a lot of baked goods that are not found in most bakeries and are able to accomodate many special custom requests.
What are your bakery's hours of operation?
We are open seven days a week and most holidays to help you get a quick meal or some treats for that last minute get together. Please view our current hours Store hours and location .
Where are you located?
Our storefront is located at 317 Atherley Road in Orillia and we are at the Orillia Farmers Market on Saturdays. We also have booths at multiple craft shows throughout Ontario if you check our social media page on Facebook
